Lamphouse Photo Final Friday

Over the years, the Labor Party has hosted many Final Friday events. They tend to be a bit off center. There are lots of galleries, and they fill that role better than this space ever could. So, our events tend to be more than an art show or an opening. My favorite have been the collaborative shows. Dozens of people contribute to the whole experience. This upcoming Final Friday, June 28th, I think we are hosting one of the most fun, most interesting, shows so far.

Lamphouse Photo Company

Most art involves the subject in a passive way. In my opinion, Lamphouse Photo Company changes that paradigm lets the subject become an active part of the art. Come see the photography that has been captured in pursuit of a passion-turned-startup, and have a portrait made in a way that won’t be easily duplicated. Until the next time you stop by wherever Lamphouse is parked next.

Conan and Katherine have painstakingly converted a vintage Camper Trailer into a mobile studio-darkroom, where they capture images and process photos in a manner that has been used decades before “digital” could be used to describe anything but a watch.
